Tamala Jane Erickson (formerly Tamala Daniels, née Hawley), affectionately known as “Tammy,” passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. 

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, remembered for her creativity, her love of cooking, and the time she cherished with her family. Tammy spent much of her working life managing kitchens in nursing homes, combining her love of cooking with a career dedicated to caring for others. She was also a member of Utah’s A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Society. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Gordon Duke Hawley. She is survived by her daughter Theresa, son Adam, and grandson Aaron Daniels of Dayton, Ohio; loving husband Mike, stepson Chris, and grandson Quentin Erickson of Ogden, Utah; brothers Darrel and Dwayne Butts, and sister Tina Hawley.
