IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosario Eloy
Lujan
January 24, 1963 – May 2, 2024
Today we grieve our brother, Rosario Eloy Lujan "Rosco". Rosco graced this world with his presence on January 24, 1963, and took his journey home May 2, 2024.
Born to Sostenes and Merida "Mary" Lujan.
Rosco is preceded in death by bit Sostenes and Mary, older brother Jesse Lujan, and older sister Roberta L Beal. He leaves behind brother Max Martinez, brother Sostenes "JR" Lujan, sister Antonia "Toni" Schilling, brother Gary Lujan, sister Barbara Wagstaff, brother Ramon Lujan, brother Louie Lujan, and respective spouses. Also, many nephews, nieces, and cousins, chosen family and friends.
Surrounded by siblings growing up, Rosco always had his goofy way of standing out and often simply did things his own way. With caution to the wind the Rosco always seemed to land back on his feet. Good for a joke, a helluva tune on the guitar, and could turn your old school Atari into a full band and make music all night long. And he had that goofy laugh.
One thing that stands out to me the most is the capacity of Rosco's heart. The things that he loved, he loved with fervor, and he was never afraid to say I love you.
He held many kinds of jobs over the years from making bowling balls to cooking breakfast. When he set his mind to it, he'd get it done.
We all have so many memories of Rosco and his crazy antics, and full-on shenanigan's. We all know it's a miracle Rosco survived those shenanigans.
He seemingly preferred to be in the company of himself. But if you were lucky enough to be graced with his love, you knew it. He would not hold back those he loved.
Rosco loved his music, beer, outdoors/camping, and fishing.
He will be missed and always remembered. Our grief to be soothed by his memories.
