Gail I. Watkins passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on February 7, 1942, in Philadelphia, New York. Gail spent most of her life in California before making her home in Utah, where she lived out her final years surrounded by love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William R. Watkins, who passed away just weeks earlier on October 18, 2025. Together they built a beautiful blended family filled with laughter, love, and good food.

Gail is lovingly remembered by her children: Suzan C. Thomsen, Synthia G. Poling, Ronald R. Richards, Sandra M. Garcia, Michael A. Watkins, Rick Quezada, and Cherish Carvetta; her 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and countless in-laws, out-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who quickly became family.

Gail loved her family to the fullest. Cooking was her love language—she could fix almost anything with a good meal and a warm heart. Her kitchen was always open, and anyone who sat at her table felt at home.

Per her wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, her family asks that everyone remember her as she was before she became ill—full of life, laughter, and love. As Gail watches over her family from above, take a moment to look up, smile, and give her a little wave. She would love that.

She went in peace and will forever be at peace.
