Carlota Gallardo, 65, passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in La Virgen, Michoacán, Mexico on November 7th, 1959 to Rosalinda Quiroz and Adolfo Estrada. She moved to Tijuana in her youth where she met Vidal Gallardo Gonzalez and were married in 1989 and later renewed their vows in June 22, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her mother Rosalinda and Sister Arcelia Estrada Quiroz. She is survived by her husband Vidal, her two sons; Juan Carlos Gallardo Estrada (Eva) and Agustin Gallardo, four grand kids; Juan Jr., Dylan, Romeo, and Julian, three brothers; Juan (Eva), Francisco Adolfo (Paula), Salvador (Delia), and seven sisters; Consuelo (Amador), Arcelia, Maria (Armando), Paula (Chad), Cristina, Elena (Modesto), Clara (Armando).

Carla lived part of her life in Whittier, California and spent her later years in Ogden, Utah. She worked at Super Groceries where she loved to socialize with all of her customers. She loved sewing and knitting, rock collecting, and coin collecting. She was feisty yet always had something to give to those in need…. Or not need. She was very kind and funny and loved everybody she met.

Services will be private for the immediate family. Her resting place will be at Leavitt's Mortuary in Ogden, Ut.
