“Let the angels rejoice, another one has come home!” Dale Campbell, 61, passed away peacefully in his wife’s loving arms surrounded by his loving family on January 1, 2020, of cancer.
Dale was born July 14, 1958, in Ogden, Utah, the youngest child of Marvin A. Campbell and Bonnie L. Jones (Heslop). He married his high school sweetheart and life-long best friend Cindi Cude on September 1, 1977, in a garden wedding at the home of Molly Frost (Cindi’s grandmother). They were together for 46 years. He graduated from Ogden High School and also attended The Learning Center, where he met his wife.
He attended Weber State University and became a Swiss Screw machine operator. He worked at Bourns Inc. for several years till his job was moved to Mexico. He then was hired as a consultant for Bourns in Mexico for one year. He opened up his own business called Campbell’s Custom Upholstery, which later caught fire. He then started a remodeling business until his brother Marvin seized his business and his home. He worked at Futura Industries as a maintenance man until he was forced to retire in 2001 due to health issues.
He was a very loving husband and father. He loved God, his family and his country. He loved skiing, hunting, fishing and being with family and friends. He enjoyed being a grandpa and yearned to see the rest of his four oldest grandchildren. He loved joking with ya and sharing his knowledge about everything he knew about. He loved his beloved chocolate lab Summer Spirit! They were inseparable!
Dale is survived by his wife Cindi; Joel Campbell, Danielle Jensen, Mark Campbell, Jr; sister Denise Bullock; brother Jeff; mother Bonnie; chocolate lab Summer Spirit; and nine grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his dad Marvin A.; stepdad Duane Heslop; brother Kirk; Debra Salas; and Marvin Lee.
